Unbelievably quiet despite main road location. Dinner was fantastic, with perfectly cooked steak. Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located with 24-hour reception.

I recently stayed at the charming Wagon Wheel Lodge for a night. My room was neat and clean, and I loved the little beverage packs provided. The bathroom was spotless, ensuring a comfortable stay. The renovated room with its white linen exceeded my expectations. I indulged in a delicious Lamb Shank dinner at the on-site restaurant, complemented by friendly staff and prompt room service. a satisfying experience that met all my needs.

Surrounded by spectacular views, the lodge offers delicious food and has a pool for caravaners. The staff is available 24/7, the motto is "luxury for less", and there's Wi-Fi in some areas.
Oh, how I enjoyed the mosquitoes and locusts in my room! Sooo relaxing.

The proximity to Cape Town and the ease of parking right outside our room were mind-blowing! The beds were incredibly comfortable and the hot and cold water pressure in the shower was jaw-dropping. The rooms had a cozy feel and were perfect for a one-night stay. Although the restaurant could have been more inviting, the bar man's friendly and helpful nature put a smile on our faces. The hot water and great water pressure in the shower were a super bonus, especially after experiencing a fancier place without those amenities. our stay was simply amazing.

Renovated rooms with clean white linen, pleasant restaurant with divine food, helpful and friendly staff, nice swimming pool and outdoor area, calm and peaceful atmosphere.

The food was presented beautifully and our steak was cooked perfectly to our liking. The restaurant was clean and the waiter was friendly and helpful. Our room was upgraded and although it didn't have a double bed as promised, it was still clean and had the bonus of air conditioning. The linen was decent and the overall atmosphere was tranquil. Despite some bugs, we had a great night's sleep.

I recently stayed at Wagon Wheel Country Lodge and had a great experience. The accommodation was undergoing renovations, but the owners were making a real effort to improve the facilities. The staff, especially Charlton at reception and the young girl in the dining room, were incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds. It's a perfect option for families, as there are rooms with extra beds and my daughter loved the bunk bed. The location is convenient, close to the N1 highway. I also enjoyed the nice swimming pool, lovely boma area, and gorgeous dining room. it's a great affordable stop-over option.
Nothing, no complaints at all. 👍

Great value for money! The room was clean and comfortable, with good quality bed linen and a nice shower. The location was convenient for a stopover on our road trip, right off the highway. Ample parking space was available and visible from the room. We also felt safe during our stay. The food served at the hotel was delicious, especially the lamb shank and chocolate mousse.
There were a few disappointing aspects of our stay. The room did not match the pictures on the website and some amenities were missing, like a TV and fridge.
